Hey there, English speakers! We've been buzzing with activity lately, and we can't wait to fill you in on all the details. From new initiatives to heartwarming events, there's always something happening at OIIO Church. Let’s get started!
Recent Events and Highlights
First off, let’s talk about our recent community outreach program. It was an absolute blast! We partnered with local organizations to provide meals, clothing, and other essential resources to families in need. Seeing everyone come together to support our neighbors was truly inspiring. We distributed over 200 care packages, and the smiles on people's faces made all the hard work worth it. A big shoutout to all the volunteers who dedicated their time and energy to make this event a success! Your generosity and compassion are what make our community so special.
Next up, our youth group organized a fantastic fundraising event to support their upcoming summer camp. They hosted a car wash and bake sale that was a huge hit! The kids worked tirelessly, scrubbing cars and baking delicious treats. They raised enough money to ensure that every child who wanted to attend camp could do so, regardless of their financial situation. It’s so heartwarming to see our young people taking initiative and making a positive impact.

We’re hosting a special guest speaker next month: Dr. Emily Carter, a renowned theologian and author. She’ll be leading a workshop on “Finding Your Purpose in a Chaotic World.” Dr. Carter is known for her engaging and insightful presentations, so this is a fantastic opportunity to learn and grow in your faith. The picnic will be on Sunday, August 4th, from 12 PM to 4 PM at Central Park. Don’t forget to bring your sunscreen and a blanket!
New Initiatives
We’re thrilled to announce the launch of a new mentorship program aimed at supporting young adults in our community. This program will pair young adults with experienced mentors who can provide guidance, encouragement, and support as they navigate their careers, relationships, and personal growth. We believe that mentorship is a powerful tool for helping young people reach their full potential. Eventos Recientes y Destacados
Primero, hablemos de nuestro reciente programa de alcance comunitario. ¡Fue un Ă©xito total! Nos asociamos con organizaciones locales para proporcionar comidas, ropa y otros recursos esenciales a las familias necesitadas. Ver a todos unirse para apoyar a nuestros vecinos fue realmente inspirador. Distribuimos más de 200 paquetes de ayuda, y las sonrisas en los rostros de las personas hicieron que todo el arduo trabajo valiera la pena. ¡Un gran agradecimiento a todos los voluntarios que dedicaron su tiempo y energĂa para que este evento fuera un Ă©xito!
